Well, he didn’t answer that question exactly, but it’s okay: most of the people attending the panel have played at least one, anyway! Brent Newhall of http://www.otakunovideo.net went through the history and style of Visual Novels (which, for the uninitiated, are basically Choose Your Own Adventure games, frequently involving a romantic story, and frequently but not always about sex).
And there were two panels, for the price of one! After he wrapped up Visual Novels Brent took us through his Amazingly Obscure Anime panel, full of bizarre artsy shows that you’ve never even heard of!

Artist’s Alley is open! Not all artists are up and running just yet, but you can already snag some prints, some hats, and, of course…BUTTONS. The rule about buttons: If you can still see the fabric of your bag, you’re doing it wrong.
Some of these are for shows I haven’t seen in ten years. It’s great that there are still Yami no Matsuei fans out there!
